as you know, one already needs to watch out just mentioning that word before even saying anything about it… Why is that?!<
Because in the end is it or is it not so, that currently our believe systems and religion pretty much builds our fundamentals of our society’s morals in line with its behaviours? So why do we need to be soooo careful when speaking about this subject? That does not make any sense…
Also, what makes it that a lot of individuals get so defensive about it when addressed?
In our opinion, usually an individual will get defensive about something, when they know it to be wrong or doubt… What is a doubt though, a doubt simply put would be when something doesn’t quite vibrate on the same frequency as you truly do or doesn’t match your own true reality at 100%, that’s why it would feel wrong or strange and cause a doubt so to say.
Why is it though that it is such a tip toe subject in the first place… Could it be “fear” or is the “the doubt” or even “wrong” just mentioned…?!
Have you ever noticed how when something is completely true and there is no doubt about it in your mind… there is no need to defend it or even justify it, as it just ‘is’. So, the moment one feels the need to justify, proof or defend (not in a way of protecting your individual freedom, as that you should always defend)… There must be a doubt and where there is a doubt there is something wrong or missing.
Having taken a look at most of the religions that exist and even within our own group having different Religious believes, there is one common ground to all this and one common goal… The goal seems to be “freedom” and the believe in a “greater power”, “being” or should we just say “the all-knowing” i.e knowledge.
Albert Einstein already mentioned;
“All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man’s life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom.”
It’s also a known fact that the cultures prior to what we would call the “ages of religion”, didn’t as such have a religious believe the way we would describe it today but much more a shared wisdom and strict guidelines to follow and practice that knowledge, take the Mayans or the ancient Egyptians as an example for that… This was also mentioned once by Leif Ericsson Leo Veness;
“The Ancients had no religion, but instead had what could be described as a deeper knowledge of reality, a science and religion that were both integrally combined into a way of life.”
Combining all this together, it’s probably a good moral support and path to follow a religion and or believe in something as to sort of make it a religion, as long as it’s not miss-used or abused. However though, those who wish not to follow a religion, should not be criticised and the religious should also not be criticised by those who don’t…
Dalai Lama once said;
“If you have a particular faith or religion, that is good. But you can survive without it.”
Now we feel that really does summarise what we just mentioned, it’s definitely good to have or follow a religion, but it is most certainly not needed for the fundamentals of survival of an individual. Thus, whatever is the way that conflicts the least with your own truth and resonates the most with your hearts vibrations is the right religion for you, even if that is the religion of no religion…
We would even go as far as to say that the ultimate goal for anyone and any group should be, love, granting others to be, knowledge and most of all truth. Real honesty and TRUTH, towards others and most of all yourself seems to be the key to freedom and should therefore be our ultimate “religion”.
Because of the power and/or the effect that Religion seems to have on people, is probably also why a lot of greed seeking, power maniacs and suppressive individuals are attracted by this and will try to infiltrate, to then simply miss-use and abuse this power for their own twisted benefits. This is why in our opinion this is something to be very careful of, as to not mistake an individual’s goal with the true goal of a Religion.
Some additional facts on things that have been done or created in the name of Religion which may build “Fear and Wrong”, but not because of the Religion but “individuals” who used it for that…
The TAX system as we know it was initially developed under the name of religion.
Religion has collected and coveted a vast amount of arts and crafts, creations and valuable information.
Under or with the name of religion, in our history, some individuals have done some very horrible things (the list are endless when you go and research a bit…) even war and murder.
…TRUTH, should therefore be our ultimate Religion…. Here some quotes we found on this…
“God is not only true, but Truth itself.” by Pope Leo Xiii
“When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murders, and for a time they may seem invincible, but in the end they always fall, ALWAYS.” by Mahatma Gandhi
“All faiths constitute a revelation of Truth, but all are imperfect and liable to error.” by Mahatma Gandhi
“A lie stands on one leg, truth on two.” by Benjamin Franklin
“A man with a grain of faith in God never loses hope, because he ever believes in the ultimate triumph of Truth.” by Mahatma Gandhi
“Exercise of faith will be the safest where there is a clear determination summarily to reject all that is contrary to truth and love.” by Mahatma Gandhi
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” by the Bible
